Abby Elliott is the daughter of Paula Niedert, a talent manager, and comic Chris Elliott. She was born in Wilton in Connecticut. Abby Elliott is the granddaughter of the radio comedian Bob Elliott. While she was a young girl Elliott loved performing in school musicals and plays. After Immaculate High School she went to Marymount Manhattan College. But she was unable to finish the first quarter of her studies there in New York City.
