Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actor from the United States. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack group with actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. For her performance of Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Ally Sheedy was born in America and she is both an actress as well as an author. She started her career in acting with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. In the film directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown as well as Alan Ruck also appeared. Her role was featured as a character in The Breakfast Club in 1985 which was a comedic drama which followed her first success. John Hughes directed one of the most memorable films made for high school students. Even though it had an budget of just $1 million, the movie's earnings exceeded $50 Million. When she was working on this her first appearance on television was made with CBS Schoolbreak. In April of 1980, it became an adolescent-oriented show. Also, she appeared on various TV series such as Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. A few of her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse which is a movie about an X-Men superhero, that she appears in as a cameo. Sheedy has been awarded numerous times for her stellar performances including her MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
